About the course

This course uses the Millennial Eclectic Therapy® (MET) framework to help you build sustainable systems that support your nervous system—not shame it. Across three modules—Habit, Routine, and Ritual—you’ll move from understanding the why behind your behaviors to implementing changes that actually last. Through psychoeducation, structure, and reflective practice, you'll learn to work with your brain instead of battling it. Whether you're navigating ADHD, burnout, or the pressure to “just be consistent,” this course offers tools rooted in both evidence and empathy.

Ashley Peterson, LPC, ADHD-CCSP

I'm Ashley Peterson, LPC, ADHD-CCSP, and the creator of Millennial Eclectic Therapy®. As a neurodivergent therapist, I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to live in a world that expects consistency without understanding capacity. My work blends clinical training with lived experience, helping clients—and clinicians—build systems that honor both the science of the brain and the reality of being human. This course is a reflection of the framework I’ve used in therapy rooms, classrooms, and in my own healing.

Testimonials

I was at a turning point where I recognized that despite my success in corporate America—building strategic programs, managing enterprise-wide initiatives, and advancing to director level—I was constantly battling myself. The overwhelm, the mental load of juggling multiple high-stakes projects, and the pressure to perform at the highest level while managing personal transitions became unsustainable. I needed tools that were specifically designed for how my brain works, not just generic productivity hacks.

If you’re a high-achieving person, especially a person of color, who’s “made it work” but feels like you’re constantly swimming upstream, this program is for you. It’s not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about unlocking what’s already powerful in you and learning to wield your neurospicy mind as the competitive advantage it truly is. The intersection of ADHD, race, and professional identity is real, and having a space that acknowledges that while providing practical tools is rare and invaluable. You’ll learn that the same brain that makes some things harder also makes you exceptional at others—and there’s a way to structure your life and work to amplify those strengths while managing the challenges with compassion and strategy. This investment in yourself will pay dividends in every area of your life. Your “different” way of thinking and feeling isn’t something to overcome—it’s something to understand, embrace, and strategically deploy. That shift in perspective alone is worth it.

My stress levels have decreased significantly because I have actual strategies now, not just willpower. I’ve built routines that work for my energy patterns rather than fighting against them. My emotional regulation has improved dramatically—I can feel the full range of my emotions without being derailed by them. I recognize now when I’m experiencing rejection sensitivity or when my brain is seeking dopamine, and I have tools to address those needs constructively. My confidence in navigating both professional challenges and personal life has grown immensely. I’m also better at advocating for what I need—whether that’s in the workplace or in relationships—because I understand myself better. I can explain to colleagues why I prefer certain work styles without shame. I can set boundaries that honor how my brain works best. And I’ve stopped apologizing for processing things differently and having a high sense of emotional depth
